Menopause Self Care: A Somatic & Shamanic Approach
Menopause is a powerful rite of passage. With consciousness and attention you can foster a deeper relationship with your self and support your growth and transformation. We will share self care methods using somatic and shamanic approaches to support you through your Perimenopause and Menopause transition.
We will explore the role of hormones in a theoretical and embodied way. You will gain a deeper understanding of what and how these hormones communicate, fluctuate and live in your body. Awareness, self touch, and movement can activate the support of your endocrine system providing deep bodied nourishment. Similarly we will explore cellular awareness, and how you can cultivate a deeper and more restful relationship to your own living cells.
There will be time for sharing, reflection and listening as we navigate this powerful and sacred rite of passage through a shamanic and somatic lens. We will co create our sacred container, and sit in sacred circle. You will experience the healing properties of shamanic drumming to ground and calm your nervous system and your whole body.
