Join us for a Women’s Voice and Frame Drum Circle led by Ria Soemardjo. Experience an embodied approach to learning foundational rhythmic patterns that underlie ancient musical traditions from around the world. Learn to integrate voice and simple frame drum patterns as a personal and communal meditation/basic sanity practice. Bring your own frame drum if you have one (eg a medicine drum) – Ria will bring a variety of frame drums to try. Sarah will weave in some of the history of the Frame drum and its particular role in women’s spirituality through out the session. The session will be limited to 10 women so there is ample time for personalised attention as well as group processes to embody the joy of women’s voice and frame drum circle.
A delicious morning tea will be provided.
